The collaboration with smartist.one started in the fall of 2021 and ran until the end of the same year.
Back at that time, it was the end of her probationary period, Katharina simply did not feel comfortable anymore. She simply felt like the role, the scope of duties and the environment did not suit her. Katharina’s expectations were not being met and there was no development plan for her that would have provided opportunities for growth. The candidate became increasingly unhappy but found in Liene an empathetic person who took her concerns and wishes seriously. With her, Katharina was able to talk openly and honestly about her experiences and needs. This gave her a good feeling for the cooperation and her own professional reorientation.
Katharina felt it was important after her experiences in her previous position to now find a job that really suited her, where she could live her passion and feel happy and balanced. Above all, the company culture of her potential new employer played a big role for Katharina, but fair compensation commensurate with the responsibility was also important to her.
Liene had a direct idea of what position might suit Katharina and made her a proposal right away. Based on the previous interviews, Liene had already clarified all the aspects that were important to Katharina with the company, which in turn gave Katharina a very good feeling. The fit on the human and cultural side was perfect and thematically there was a lot of scope to help shape the role herself. This meant that the conditions for the application process were optimal. When it came to salary, Liene also negotiated ahead in Katharina’s sense and coached her specifically for the interview with the employer. As a result, Katharina was finally able to achieve her desired salary.
By working with Liene, Katharina found a job and a work environment that suited her and where she could add value herself in a very short time. Katharina now enjoys working there and her performance is valued. For the first time in a long time, Katharina feels she has “found her place” professionally and is looking forward to the challenges she will be able to master together with her team.
In just under two years with her employer, she has already taken two major steps in her development and now bears responsibility as a department head for her own team and as part of the management team.
